Loretta Gould is a Mi'kmaq quilter and painter from Waycobah First Nation, who loves bright, beautiful colours. Her first paintings sold in Germany and FInland. Loretta's dream is to share her art around the world. It is a way to get her spiritual feelings on canvas. Her husband Elliot draws for her at times, and he also paints from time to time, Loretta adding her finishing touches. This is a good example of family working together. Loretta is self-taught in quilting and painting. She uses acrylic paint for her canvases.
